VINTAGE enthusiasts flocked to an event to celebrate all manner of collectibles and more.

The Battlesbridge Custom Culture Show is a celebration of Mid 20th Century style.

The show featured music, cars and fashion from the golden age of culture.

It took place at Muggeridge Farm, Battlesbridge.

The visitors saw a range of classic and vintage style vehicles.

The vintage day was hosted by Hadden Events, which holds vintage style fairs across Essex.

The fun at the farm also saw people dress up and get into character with hairstyles from back in the day.

Haddon Events’ Steve Cooper, 48, from Rayleigh who organised the event with his wife Emma, was “bowled over” by the effort that people put in.

He said: “It was absolutely fantastic, the sun shone and it couldn’t have gone better.

“Plenty of people made an effort to dress up in their vintage gear and brought their cars down, it was great.

“The quality of the vehicles this year made it so difficult to judge - it improves every year.

“A lot of hard work and effort went into it as we ultimately want to give the people a good time.”

Haddon Events will be hosting the Southend Vintage Show in October. Visit haddonevents.co.uk for more information.
