A MAN is still recovering in a critical condition after a crash on on the M25.

Emergency services rescued a man, with multiple injuries, from a lorry following a crash on the M25.

The crash which took place at about 10am, yesterday morning and involved two lorries and a car.

It blocked three lanes between junction 26 and junction 27.

He was taken to St Georges Hospital, London by air ambulance.

The drivers of the second lorry and car are not seriously injured.

Drivers are also facing ‘severe’ delays on the motorway this morning after the crash.

Five fire crews attended the crash to help rescue the man.

There are currently delays of 50 minutes and 8.2 miles of queues as drivers approach the area.

Police are now appealing for information about the crash.

A spokesman said: "Police are on the scene of a serious crash involving two lorries and a car on the clockwise M25. 

"A section of the clockwise M25 and two lanes of the anti-clockwise carriageway had been closed. 

“The anti-clockwise carriageway and one lane on the clockwise side have re-opened. 

“Anyone with any information about the incident and anyone who has any dashcam footage of the crash is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or via collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk."
